Peggy Grich

Peggy Grich is one of our featured writers that will be adding articles to her journal on a regular basis. Peggy and her husband Jim are full time RVer's and we very much look forward to their adventures on the road. They also have their own website - AmericanRVer.com

American RVer is a fun, entertaining, and informative television show found at AmericanRVer.com that is designed with the RVer in mind. Hosts and producers, Jim and Peggy Grich have been living full-time in their RV for over a year and have been producing and broadcasting the show online in high definition for two and a half years. Viewers get the opportunity to meet company C.E.O.s, take a look at new products, learn tech tips, meet fellow campers, and visit locations and campgrounds around the country. Shows are produced monthly and are available for download throughout the month, at the convenience of the viewer.

Jim and Peggy are broadcast veterans. Together, they have produced nearly one thousand shows. Jim has been in broadcasting for over 33 years. Peggy has an 18 year track record. “The unique advantage of our show is that it is accessible through the Internet for individuals to download and watch at their leisure, not on a finite schedule like a conventional television show. By having the ability to be seen on a computer, laptop, or on a video device like the video iPod, this is truly a show for those on the go!”

They have just returned from Kino Bay, Mexico and are on their way for a couple month's of RVing on the East Coast.

RVs sit placidly in their desert sites, occupants unaware of the hawk gliding by with breakfast for its young, lifting gently on the early morning breeze, heading for its mountain nest. The golden sun peaks over the mountaintop, a bright globe of intense light expanding to a soft peach sherbet color. The cactus forest begins to take form as the rays dip over the edge to illuminate first the tips, then the stately arms, and finally the surrounding sagebrush.

The mountains of Tiburon Island glow pink from the eastern sun as each crevice hides in the shadows, allowing the peaks to rise to majestic points against the pale pink-yellow sky. Pelicans flap their way across the surface of the blue-green Sea of Cortez, hoping for a good day’s catch. Low bluffs of hard dunes hide the sandy beach where clams, crabs, and octopus skillfully hide themselves from the bird’s prying eyes among the sand and black rock.

Sandy, bumpy paths and roadways lead from the campground through the dunes to the pristine sea, allowing access for small boats and fishermen. A day on the salty water is just what the doctor ordered for relaxation and rejuvenation.
